ClinConnect Summary

The FeelFit study is looking at how High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) can help improve the physical fitness of adults who have been diagnosed with a primary brain tumor and are currently stable, meaning their condition hasn’t changed for some time. This study compares the effects of HIIT on participants with those who are on a waiting list and not participating in any exercise program. It is part of a larger project aimed at enhancing the quality of life for brain tumor patients.

To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be at least 18 years old, have a primary brain tumor, and report feeling less physically fit. They should also have had no treatment for at least two months and be able to communicate in Dutch. Participants in the study can expect to engage in a structured exercise program designed to boost their fitness levels, while also contributing to important research that could benefit others in similar situations.
