ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is investigating two types of imaging tests, called FAPI and FDG PET scans, to see how well they can help doctors find different types of cancer. Both types of imaging use special substances that highlight cancer cells, but they work in slightly different ways. The goal is to find out if the new FAPI imaging might be better at spotting tumors than the traditional FDG imaging, especially since it targets specific cancer-related cells that are usually not present in healthy tissues.

To participate in this trial, people must be at least 18 years old and have a suspected or newly diagnosed cancer. They should also be able to undergo both types of scans within one week and provide consent for participation. Unfortunately, pregnant women and those with certain health conditions that affect their ability to have the scans may not be eligible. Participants can expect to have both imaging tests done to help researchers learn more about how these methods compare in detecting cancer. This study is important because it may lead to better ways to diagnose and treat cancer in the future.
