ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a type of eye cancer called uveal melanoma. Researchers want to see if using color fundus photography, which takes detailed pictures of the inside of the eye, can effectively monitor this condition, just like the traditional method of ultrasound done by eye specialists. They believe that the measurements taken from these photographs can match the measurements from ultrasound. This could make it easier and possibly more convenient for patients to have their condition monitored.
To participate in this study, you need to have been diagnosed with uveal melanoma. Unfortunately, if there are gaps in your medical records or if imaging of your eye cannot be done for some reason, you won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to have both types of imaging done so that the researchers can compare the results. This trial is still looking for participants, and it includes individuals aged between 65 and 74 as well as those from 36 to 159 years old, regardless of gender.
