ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called the Evaluation of the Comprehensive Family Support Program (PAIF), is studying how effective positive parenting programs are for parents of toddlers, children, and teenagers in Cantabria, Spain. The goal is to see if these programs can help parents improve their parenting skills and family relationships. Researchers will gather information from parents before they start the program, right after it ends, and a few months later to see if the benefits last over time. They will also compare these results to families who are not participating in the program.

To join the study, participants need to be the main caregiver of at least one child under 18 years old and be motivated to enhance their parenting skills. Families who are dealing with serious crises or mental health issues that could interfere with participation will not be included. By taking part, parents can expect to learn new strategies to support their children’s development and strengthen their family dynamics. This program is designed to help families create a more positive home environment that lasts beyond the duration of the program.
