ClinConnect Summary
The Clareon Toric Study is looking at a type of eye lens called Clareon Toric Intraocular Lenses (IOLs) to see how safe and effective they are in the long term for people with cataracts and astigmatism. This study is currently recruiting participants who are between 65 and 74 years old, regardless of gender. To join, individuals must be able to understand and sign a consent form, have cataracts in one or both eyes that will be treated with a specific type of surgery, and have astigmatism in the eyes that will be operated on.
If you participate in this study, you will need to attend all scheduled visits as part of the trial. It's important to note that there are some people who may not qualify, such as those who are pregnant, have certain eye diseases, or have had previous eye surgeries. The goal of the study is to gather information that can help doctors understand how well these lenses work for patients like you over time.
