ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at ways to help prevent oral diseases, like tooth decay and gum disease, in young people aged 14 to 16 years old. The researchers want to find out if a special treatment called antibacterial dual-light therapy can help protect against these oral health issues. The study is currently recruiting participants from the junior high schools in the County of Pirkanmaa, and they are interested in kids who are at a higher risk for dental problems.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between 14 and 16 years old and able to agree to take part in the study with permission from their parents or caregivers. The trial is designed for those who can cooperate with the treatment and have not had any recent dental treatments that could interfere with the study. If selected, participants can expect to receive targeted preventive care to help keep their teeth and gums healthy. This trial is an important step in finding new ways to support young people's oral health!
