ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of two specific compounds found in hops, called Iso-alpha-Acids and Xanthohumol, on the immune system of healthy participants. The goal is to see how these compounds influence the immune response over a period of 6 hours. The trial is currently looking for participants, and it is open to both men and women aged between 18 and 65 years who are in good health.
To be eligible to participate, individuals must have a body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 30, which is a measure of body weight in relation to height. However, people with certain health issues—like food allergies, chronic diseases, or recent infections—are not able to join. If you decide to participate, you can expect to spend a few hours in the study where you will be monitored for any changes in your immune response after taking the hop compounds. This study could help improve our understanding of how these natural substances affect the body’s defenses.
