ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how Kegel exercises and a traditional Chinese exercise called Ba Duan Jin can help improve the quality of life and psychological well-being of premenopausal women who experience urinary incontinence. Urinary incontinence is when a person has trouble controlling their bladder, which can be both uncomfortable and embarrassing. The study is looking for women between the ages of 45 and 55 who have this condition and are willing to participate.

If you join the trial, you will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. One group will learn and practice Kegel exercises and Ba Duan Jin, while the other group will not receive any specific treatment during the study period. Both groups will complete questionnaires about their quality of life and psychological well-being before and after the study. If you meet the eligibility criteria and participate, you will help researchers understand whether these exercises can effectively improve urinary issues and overall well-being for women in this age group. After the study, the control group will also receive the exercises to benefit from the findings.
