ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to find out which method of training is more effective for learning advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) skills: training using virtual reality (VR) guided by a machine or training led by a human educator in a virtual environment called the metaverse. Essentially, it's about comparing two different ways to teach lifesaving skills to see which one helps people learn better.
If you're interested in participating, you need to be someone who wants to volunteer for this study and is open to learning in a new way. However, you won’t be eligible if you've had any serious issues with virtual reality in the past, like motion sickness, or if you’ve previously trained in ACLS. You also shouldn't have certain medical conditions, like frequent vertigo, or be taking medications that could make you feel dizzy. If you join, you can expect to engage in an innovative learning experience that could help improve how ACLS is taught in the future.
