ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying Wilms tumors, which are a type of kidney cancer that usually affects children. The researchers want to find out how common Wilms tumors are among pediatric cancers treated at Shefa Al-Orman Children Cancer Hospital from June 2020 to June 2024. They will also look at how well patients respond to a specific treatment plan called the SIOP Umbrella protocol and examine any side effects that the children may experience during their treatment.
To participate in this study, children and young adolescents under 18 years old who are receiving treatment at the hospital may be eligible. However, those older than 18, those who passed away before starting treatment, or those with different types of kidney tumors will not be included. If your child participates, they can expect to be part of a careful study that aims to improve understanding and treatment of Wilms tumors while keeping track of any complications that arise during their care.
