ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying two different surgical methods to treat hip injuries, specifically focusing on labral tears, which are injuries to the cartilage in the hip joint. The researchers want to compare the outcomes of two procedures: one that repairs the labrum (the cartilage) and another that cleans up damaged tissue (called debridement). The goal is to find out which method helps patients feel better and regain function in their hips after surgery.

To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 60 years old and have a specific type of hip problem called femoroacetabular impingement, which can cause pain and limit movement. However, if you have had previous hip surgery or have certain other hip conditions, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to be followed for 12 months to see how well you recover and how your hip function improves after one of these procedures. This trial is currently looking for participants, so it could be a good opportunity for those dealing with these hip issues.
