ClinConnect Summary
The text4FATHER R21 trial is a study looking at how effective text messaging can be in helping first-time fathers-to-be get involved during pregnancy and in the first two months after their baby is born. The goal is to support the well-being of the baby, mother, and father by using social media to reach out to these new dads across the United States.
To join the study, participants need to be at least 18 years old, live in the U.S., speak English, and be expecting their first child with a partner who is less than 25 weeks pregnant. They also need to be comfortable receiving text messages. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and those who join can expect to receive helpful information and support through texts as they navigate this exciting time in their lives. It's important to note that individuals with recent safety concerns related to their partner are not eligible for this study.
