ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) heals after surgery when using a special technique called internal bracing. The researchers want to find out if using this bracing alongside a specific type of graft from the quadriceps muscle helps improve healing, based on clinical evaluations, imaging tests, and patient feedback.
To participate in the trial, you need to be between 65 and 74 years old and have a history of ACL injury that requires surgery without any other ligament repairs or major joint procedures. Unfortunately, those who have had other surgeries on the knee or have certain blood-borne diseases cannot join. If you participate, you'll be monitored closely during your recovery to see how well your knee heals and how it affects your daily activities. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and everyone is welcome regardless of gender.
