Pulsatile Tinnitus Multifrequency Admittancemetry

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a condition called pulsatile tinnitus, which is a type of ringing or noise in the ears that can be heard in time with your heartbeat. The researchers want to find out if a specific test called multifrequential impedancemetry can help understand this condition better. The trial is currently looking for participants aged 65 to 74 who have experienced pulsatile tinnitus for more than a month. Both men and women can join, and they must be part of a social security system.

To participate, you should be an adult with either one or both ears affected by pulsatile tinnitus. However, there are some criteria that would exclude you from joining, such as having had certain ear surgeries or specific ear problems found during examinations. If you decide to participate, you will undergo tests to help the researchers gather information about your condition. Your involvement could contribute to better understanding and treatment options for pulsatile tinnitus in the future.
