ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how long nasal packing is kept in place after a septorhinoplasty surgery and whether this duration affects the chance of developing a sore throat or pharyngitis (inflammation of the throat). Septorhinoplasty is a surgery to correct the shape of the nose and improve breathing. The researchers want to find out if there is a connection between the length of time the nasal packing is used and the occurrence of throat discomfort after surgery.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 20 and 40 years old and classified as ASA I or II, which means you are generally healthy or have mild health issues. However, individuals with certain conditions like bleeding disorders, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or pregnancy cannot join. If you decide to participate, you will help researchers understand the best practices for post-surgery care, which could improve recovery experiences for future patients.
