ClinConnect Summary

The Vaping Adverse Lung and Heart Events Cohort is a clinical trial that aims to understand how vaping, or using electronic cigarettes, affects the lungs and heart of adult users. The study is looking for participants who are at least 18 years old, use electronic cigarettes daily, and have not had a respiratory infection in the four weeks before their visit. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot participate in this study.

Participants will visit the study site every six months for five years, where they will undergo various assessments to help researchers track any changes in lung and heart health over time. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know fits the eligibility criteria, this could be a great opportunity to contribute to important research on the effects of vaping.
