ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different dental treatments, Pulpotomy and Pulpectomy, to see which one works better for young children with deep tooth decay. The trial focuses on kids aged 4 to 6 years who have healthy overall health but are experiencing issues like pain due to a deep cavity that has affected the tooth's pulp, which is the innermost part of the tooth containing nerves and blood vessels. Both treatments aim to save the tooth, but they do so in different ways.
To participate in the trial, children must be in good health, and their parents will need to provide written consent. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but when it is, parents can expect their children to receive one of the two treatments and be monitored for how well the tooth heals over time. It's important to know that children with certain conditions, such as swelling or previous dental work on the same tooth, will not be eligible for this study. This research can help improve future dental care for children with similar dental issues.
