ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how virtual reality (VR) can help improve movement and balance in people who have had a lower limb amputation. Researchers want to see if combining VR training with traditional physical therapy can lead to better recovery compared to just doing physical therapy alone. The aim is to understand how this innovative approach can enhance the brain's ability to adapt and improve motor skills.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be between 18 and 75 years old, have had an amputation of one leg, and be able to walk independently. Participants will engage in a training program that includes both VR activities and standard physical therapy. The trial is not yet recruiting, so there’s no immediate action needed, but it’s an exciting opportunity for those who meet the criteria to explore new ways to enhance their recovery journey.
