ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how being overweight or obese affects reading abilities in children and teenagers aged 11 to 16 years. Researchers want to understand if there is a connection between reading skills and other physical abilities, such as coordination and balance. They believe that problems in a part of the brain called the cerebellum might play a role in these challenges.
To join the study, participants must be diagnosed with overweight or obesity and should not have any other serious neurological or developmental disorders. If eligible, participants will take part in activities that assess their reading and motor skills. The findings from this trial could help improve educational support and resources for children struggling with reading due to obesity.
