ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying new medication treatments for adults with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), a condition that causes breathing problems during sleep. Researchers will test three different medications to see how well they improve breathing patterns and overall sleep quality. Each participant will spend a night in a sleep lab, where their breathing will be monitored while they take either the medication or a placebo (a harmless substance with no active medicine) before bed. The main goal is to see if these treatments can reduce the number of breathing interruptions that occur during sleep.
To be eligible for this study, participants must have a specific level of breathing interruptions (at least 15 times per hour) during sleep. However, individuals with serious health issues, such as heart or lung diseases, those who currently use a CPAP machine, or have certain allergies or lifestyle factors (like smoking or heavy drinking) will not be able to participate. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive careful monitoring during your overnight stay and contribute to important research that may help improve treatment options for sleep apnea in the future.
