ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two common treatments for a condition called Trigger Finger, which causes your finger to catch or lock when you try to move it. The study will compare the effectiveness of two methods: Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) and splint therapy. The goal is to find out which treatment works better for helping people with Trigger Finger feel better and regain normal finger movement.
To participate in the trial, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have been diagnosed with early stages of Trigger Finger. You should be able to understand and answer some questions used for evaluation. However, if you are pregnant, have certain hand or wrist conditions, or are taking specific medications, you may not be eligible to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to receive one of the treatments and provide feedback on how it affects your symptoms. This research is important because it aims to provide clearer guidance on which treatment might be best for people dealing with Trigger Finger.
