If you are between the ages of 65 and 74 and have been diagnosed with goiter or have had thyroid surgery, you might be eligible to participate. The study is currently recruiting participants, and those who join can expect to be interviewed to help develop the questionnaire. Later, they will complete the questionnaire both before and after their surgery. It’s important to note that individuals with certain neurological disorders or prior neck surgeries may not qualify for this study. This research aims to provide valuable insights that can lead to better treatment options for patients like you.

• Inclusion Criteria:
• • Diagnosis of goiter or thyroidectomy.
• Exclusion Criteria:
• • Diagnosis of other neurological disorders or disorders involving the aerodigestive tract that could cause swallowing disorders.
• • Previous surgery of the neck or involving the aerodigestive tract.
