ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to see if providing women with more information about two types of permanent birth control—tubal sterilization and long-acting reversible contraception (like IUDs)—can help them feel more confident about their choices. The study focuses on women who really want to avoid future pregnancies and are interested in learning more about their options. Participants will answer some questions at the beginning, explore a new educational website that compares these two methods, and then share their thoughts in follow-up surveys at two different times: right after visiting the site and again three months later.
To be eligible for this trial, women should be between the ages of 18 and 45, should not be currently pregnant, and should be fluent in English or Spanish. They should also have a strong desire to prevent future pregnancies and should not have had a tubal sterilization procedure before. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it's a great opportunity for women looking to make informed decisions about their reproductive health.
