ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of prenatal yoga on stress levels, sexual quality of life, and sleep patterns in pregnant women. The researchers aim to see if practicing yoga can help reduce stress, improve sexual well-being, and enhance sleep for women who are between 24 and 34 weeks pregnant. A total of 100 women will participate, and they will attend 12 yoga sessions over six weeks, with two sessions each week lasting 90 minutes.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be pregnant, able to read and write in Turkish, and willing to join the research. However, women with high-risk pregnancies, diagnosed psychiatric issues, or those already involved in other relaxation programs won’t be able to participate. The researchers hope that this yoga program will lead to better mental wellness and overall quality of life for expectant mothers.
