ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how effective a structured digital-based education program can be in improving nursing students' knowledge and preparedness for disasters. In Turkey, where natural disasters can be a significant risk, it's essential for individuals to understand how to respond effectively during such events. The program lasts for eight weeks and includes various interactive learning methods designed to help students access, understand, and use important information related to disaster preparedness. By participating, students will learn skills that can help them make informed decisions and take appropriate actions during emergencies.

To be eligible for the trial, participants must be enrolled in a nursing program, be able to speak and understand Turkish, and have at least a beginner level of English. They also need to sign a consent form. However, students who have already participated in disaster training programs or fail to attend the digital training sessions twice in a row will not be included. This study offers a great opportunity for nursing students to enhance their disaster literacy and preparedness beliefs, ultimately helping them better serve their communities in times of need.
