By participating, students will learn skills that can help them make informed decisions and take appropriate actions during emergencies.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be enrolled in a nursing program, be able to speak and understand Turkish, and have at least a beginner level of English. They also need to sign a consent form. However, students who have already participated in disaster training programs or fail to attend the digital training sessions twice in a row will not be included. This study offers a great opportunity for nursing students to enhance their disaster literacy and preparedness beliefs, ultimately helping them better serve their communities in times of need.

- • To be enrolled in the nursing programme
- • Ability to speak and understand Turkish
- • Speak English at least at beginner level
- • To have signed the informed consent form
- • Exclusion criteria
- • Having previously participated in any disaster training programme
- • Failure to attend the eight-week digital-based disaster training programme twice in a row
