ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how time-restricted eating (TRE) combined with aerobic exercise affects women who are overweight or have mild obesity. TRE means limiting the time you eat to a certain window each day, which may help with weight loss and improve heart health. The trial will last for 8 weeks and will compare the effects of exercising on an empty stomach versus after eating. Researchers want to see how these changes impact body composition and health markers in participants.
To be eligible for this study, women must be between 20 and 40 years old, have a body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 34.9, and not be involved in any structured exercise programs currently. They should also have maintained their weight for about three months before starting the study. Participants should expect to follow a specific eating schedule and engage in aerobic exercises, all while contributing to valuable research that could help others in the future. It's important to note that certain conditions, like being a smoker or having specific health issues, may disqualify individuals from participating.
