ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new type of therapy called Traditional Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy (TIIP) specifically designed for Muslims in Pakistan who have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The goal is to see how effective this therapy is in reducing OCD symptoms and helping with related issues like anxiety, depression, and stress. Additionally, the study aims to improve the spiritual well-being of participants.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 40 years old and have a diagnosis of OCD that meets specific criteria. They should also have completed at least eight years of formal education and show moderate symptoms of OCD. However, those with severe mental health issues or chronic physical illnesses will not be able to participate. If you or a family member fit these criteria and are interested, you can expect to engage in a therapy that respects cultural and religious beliefs while aiming to improve your mental health.
