This clinical trial, called the Emergency Medical Staff Workload Analysis, is focused on understanding the stress and trauma that emergency medical personnel experience in their jobs. The researchers want to identify specific situations and factors that can lead to problems like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). By analyzing the workloads and challenges faced by doctors and rescue team members, the study aims to improve treatment options, such as therapy that uses virtual reality to help these professionals cope with their experiences.

To be eligible for this study, participants must have completed medical training or an emergency medical course and have experience dealing with life-threatening situations. The trial is currently looking for participants of all genders and ages from 16 to over 70. Those who join will help researchers explore new ways to support emergency staff in managing stress and prevent long-term mental health issues. This work could lead to better treatment strategies and support systems for those who dedicate their lives to helping others in crisis.

  • completed medical studies or emergency medical course
  • assistance in life-threatening conditions
  • Exclusion Criteria:
  • Intellectual disability
  • Inability to self-complete the research questionnaires
