ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of two different treatments for patients who have had a stroke. Researchers want to see if combining neuromuscular stimulation (a therapy that helps muscles work better) and mindfulness breathing (a relaxation technique) along with traditional physiotherapy can help stroke patients recover more effectively than just using traditional physiotherapy alone. The trial will involve 60 stroke patients who are divided into two groups: one group will receive all three treatments, while the other group will only receive traditional physiotherapy.
To be eligible for this trial, patients should be between 50 and 65 years old and must have been diagnosed with a stroke confirmed by medical imaging tests like CT scans or MRIs. It’s important that participants are stable, can understand the study requirements, and do not have any serious health issues that could interfere with the treatment. If you or someone you know is considering participating, this trial offers a chance to explore new ways to support recovery after a stroke.
