ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different types of breathing exercises—specifically, those done with or without special equipment—can improve lung capacity. Researchers want to find out which method works better for individuals with breathing issues. The trial will involve participants doing exercises over 8 weeks, with sessions both through a telehealth program and at home. Participants will be divided into two groups: one group will use equipment for their exercises, while the other will perform traditional breathing exercises without any equipment. At the beginning and end of the study, participants will have their lung capacity checked to see how well the exercises worked.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be healthy young adults aged 18 to 30 who are willing to take part. However, those with certain health issues, like severe lung or heart problems, mental health concerns, or those who smoke or drink alcohol, will not be able to join. If someone is selected, they can expect to follow a structured exercise routine and be monitored closely to see how their lung function improves. This study aims to provide valuable insights that could help develop better treatment options for people with respiratory conditions.
