ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how common high levels of a specific type of cholesterol called lipoprotein(a), or Lp(a), are among hospital staff. Lp(a) is important because having high levels can increase the risk of heart problems. The study aims to understand how many people in the working population, especially those in hospitals, may have elevated Lp(a) levels.
If you're a hospital staff member aged 21 or older, or a family member of someone with high Lp(a), you may be eligible to participate. Participants will be asked to provide some information and possibly undergo tests to check their Lp(a) levels. The study is currently looking for volunteers, and it's a great opportunity to contribute to important research that could help improve heart health in the community.
