ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a method called autologous fat grafting, which is used to treat facial deformities that are either congenital (present at birth) or acquired (developed over time). The goal of the study is to understand how much fat is absorbed after it is injected into the face, which can sometimes lead to unpredictable results. To do this, researchers will use a special 3D scanning technology to precisely measure changes in facial volume before and after the fat grafting procedure. They will perform this surgery on 100 patients and track their progress using scans taken right after the surgery and again six months later.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must have a specific type of facial deformity that requires fat grafting, be in good overall health, not be pregnant or planning to become pregnant, and be willing to sign a consent form. Those who cannot have general anesthesia or decide not to participate will be excluded. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo a safe surgical procedure to improve facial appearance, while also contributing to important research that could help others in the future.
