Dementia Caregiver Older People Technological Devices Quality Of Life

ClinConnect Summary

The HAAL trial is looking at how different technological devices can help improve the daily lives of older people with dementia and make it easier for their caregivers. This project aims to find out if these devices can provide better support for both the individuals living with dementia and the people who care for them, whether they are family members or professional caregivers.

To be part of this study, caregivers must be looking after someone with cognitive impairment or dementia, be available to participate, and either visit the person they care for at least twice a week or live with them. Participants can expect to work with new technologies designed to enhance quality of life, and their feedback will be valuable in shaping future care solutions. It’s important to note that anyone interested in joining must provide written consent to be part of the trial.
