ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking to understand how family members and future parents perceive the chances of mental illness in their children when there is a history of mental illness in the family. It aims to explore their experiences, feelings, and needs for support and information about mental health. The researchers want to learn more about how mental illness can affect parenting and what kind of help families might need, including counseling and research into better care options.

To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have a partner or relative diagnosed with a mental illness, such as severe depression, bipolar disorder, or a psychotic disorder. The study will involve interviews where participants can share their thoughts and experiences. This research is important because it aims to fill gaps in understanding how mental illness can impact families and to identify ways to support them better. If you're interested in sharing your perspective, this trial may be a good opportunity to contribute to valuable insights in mental health care.
