ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new device called a "leak-free bronchoscope adapter." The goal is to see if this adapter can help reduce the amount of air that escapes during a bronchoscopy, a procedure where doctors look inside the lungs. This is important for patients who are on a ventilator, as less air leakage can lead to better outcomes during the procedure.
To participate in this study, you need to be an adult aged 18 or older who is scheduled for an elective intubation, which means you will be put under anesthesia for surgery or a bronchoscopic procedure. Both men and women can join. If you have any serious issues that would prevent you from following the study rules or if you decide to withdraw your consent, you won't be able to participate. While the trial is not yet recruiting, it aims to help improve care for patients with pulmonary diseases undergoing these procedures by testing this new adapter.
