ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the challenges that children with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) face when it comes to toilet training and other related issues like urinary and bowel problems. The researchers want to find out if children with DCD have more difficulties in these areas compared to children who develop typically.

To participate in this study, children aged 18 months to 21 years who have been diagnosed with DCD by a team of specialists can join the DCD group. There will also be a control group made up of typically developing children who match the DCD children in age and gender but do not have any developmental disorders. Participants can expect to answer questions and possibly undergo assessments related to their toilet training and bowel habits. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to improve understanding of how DCD impacts daily life for affected children and their families.
