ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether specific eye exercises, called oculomotor exercises, can help improve the accuracy of tennis strokes for young players. The trial will include 30 tennis players aged 12 to 18 who practice tennis for at least 6 hours a week and have been playing for at least a year. To participate, players need to have normal vision, meaning they shouldn’t have issues like nearsightedness or farsightedness.
During the trial, participants will first do their usual warm-up before hitting 30 forehand and 30 backhand strokes. Their accuracy will be measured, and then after a week of adding eye exercises to their warm-up, they will hit the strokes again to see if their accuracy improves. This study aims to find out if these eye exercises can make a difference in tennis performance. If you or someone you know fits the criteria and is interested in participating, this could be a great opportunity to enhance tennis skills!
