ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) are affected by a treatment called ventilotherapy, which helps them breathe better during sleep. The study will evaluate various aspects of health, such as thinking abilities, emotional well-being, and certain biological markers in the blood, before and after three weeks of this treatment. By participating, individuals will complete tests to assess their mental performance, provide blood samples, and answer questions about their mood and social life.

To be eligible for this study, participants must have a diagnosis of OSAS (which means they stop breathing for short periods while sleeping) and be right-handed. Certain individuals, like those who have had ventilotherapy before or have specific neurological conditions, won’t be able to participate. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders, aged between 18 to 65 years. If you or someone you know is interested, it could be a valuable opportunity to contribute to understanding how this treatment impacts overall health and well-being.
