ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Circulating Factors in Nephrotic Syndrome," aims to study how certain factors in the blood change when patients are treated for nephrotic syndrome, a condition that affects the kidneys and can lead to symptoms like swelling and protein loss in urine. The study will focus on patients who are newly diagnosed with this condition and will be admitted to the hospital for a kidney biopsy, which is a procedure to take a small piece of kidney tissue for examination.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, have certain levels of proteins in your urine, and be scheduled for a kidney biopsy. You should also be able to understand and provide written consent in Danish. If you’re eligible and choose to join, you will help researchers learn more about how treatment affects your condition. Please note that the trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it will provide valuable information for future patients with similar kidney issues.
