ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special online health program, called Telehealth Intervention (THI), can help improve oral health in cancer survivors. The goal is to see if this program can prevent problems like mouth sores, improve how well patients take care of their teeth and gums, and enhance their quality of life related to oral health, compared to regular care. The trial will involve 100 cancer survivors who are at least six months out of their main cancer treatment.
To participate, individuals must be between 25 and 75 years old, belong to any race or ethnic group, and own a smartphone. However, those who have had head, neck, or oral cancers, or are currently undergoing cancer treatment, cannot join. Participants can expect to be part of a six-month study where they will either use the Telehealth program or receive usual care for their oral health. This trial is currently recruiting, and it aims to provide valuable insights into how technology can support cancer survivors in maintaining better oral health.
