ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a mindfulness-based online program designed to help first-time pregnant women (called primigravidas) reduce stress, improve their confidence during childbirth, and strengthen their emotional connection with their unborn baby. The researchers want to see if this program can make a positive difference in these important areas during pregnancy.
To participate, women need to be between 18 and 35 years old, currently 18 to 24 weeks pregnant with one healthy baby, and not facing any serious pregnancy complications. They should also have access to a computer or smartphone and the internet. Participants will go through an 8-module training program online, focusing on mindfulness techniques to manage stress. It's important to note that women who are already taking childbirth classes or have specific medical issues may not be eligible. Overall, this study aims to support pregnant women in feeling more relaxed and connected during this special time in their lives.
