ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how common dental cavities, also known as dental caries, are among children in Egypt and how factors like screen time (time spent on devices like TVs and tablets) and sugar consumption might influence this. The study will focus on children aged 6 to 8 years who have a mix of baby and adult teeth. It aims to understand any connections between how much time children spend on screens, how much sugar they eat, and the presence of cavities.
To participate in this trial, children must be between 6 and 8 years old and have access to screens. They need to be able to agree to take part in the study, and both boys and girls can join. However, children who are experiencing dental emergencies, have psychological issues, or have chronic illnesses will not be included. Those who do participate can expect to help researchers learn more about the impact of lifestyle habits on dental health, which could lead to better practices for preventing cavities in the future.
