ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new way to help Black adults who are dealing with depression and anxiety by using a video-based program on their smartphones. The goal is to reduce the stigma around mental health issues and to build trust in healthcare. This is important because many Black adults face barriers when it comes to seeking help for mental health problems.
To participate, you need to be between the ages of 18 and 45, identify as Black American or Black immigrant, and have experienced symptoms of depression or anxiety. You should also have a smartphone with internet access and have not seen a mental health professional in the past year. If you join, you will watch videos and engage in activities designed to improve your understanding of mental health, and you can expect support throughout the process. This trial is currently looking for participants, so if you're interested, it could be a great opportunity to contribute to important research and help others in your community.
