ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how practicing gratitude might help people deal with acute pain, which is sudden and temporary discomfort. Researchers want to see how feeling thankful could affect both the mind and body when experiencing pain. They will also explore if certain genetic factors play a role in how gratitude impacts pain and emotions.
To participate in this study, you should be at least 18 years old and must be pain-free, meaning you don't currently have any pain or injuries. Unfortunately, if you have certain health conditions like heart disease, diabetes, or chronic pain conditions, or if you are pregnant, you wouldn’t be eligible to join. If selected, participants will take part in activities that encourage gratitude and then share their experiences with pain. This study is currently recruiting participants of all genders aged 18 and older.
