ClinConnect Summary

The Buikwe Electronic Community Health Information System Impact Study is looking at how a new electronic health information system can help improve child health, specifically for conditions like malaria, diarrhea, and pneumonia. This study is currently recruiting participants and is open to children aged 3 to 59 months who live in the study area and whose guardians agree to take part. It's important that the child's guardians are willing to follow the study rules, which includes bringing their child to a health center if they show signs of malaria during the study.

If your child is eligible and joins the study, you can expect to provide information about their health and possibly get access to better health services through the electronic system being tested. This system aims to make it easier for families and health workers to track and manage children's health. Overall, this study hopes to find ways to improve the health outcomes of young children in the community.
