ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how effective three different imaging methods—dynamic CT, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and CT angiography—are at identifying and understanding endoleaks in patients who have received an endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). Endoleaks are leaks that can occur after this procedure, and they can lead to serious complications like the expansion or rupture of the aorta. The study aims to find out if a new type of imaging called dynamic CT angiography (d-CTA) can provide better information about these leaks compared to the current methods.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have undergone an EVAR procedure. You should also have either detected an endoleak or experienced an increase in the size of the aneurysm sac by 5 mm or more over the past six months. If you join the trial, you’ll undergo imaging tests to help researchers better understand your condition. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and it is important to note that certain individuals, such as minors, pregnant women, or those without social security coverage, may not be eligible to participate.
