ClinConnect Summary
The BLANDISH trial is studying how a machine learning system can help understand the outcomes of patients who have had a spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage, which is bleeding in the brain that happens unexpectedly. The researchers want to find out if there are patterns in clinical practices and patient experiences that can predict whether a patient will recover well or have ongoing problems. Participants in this study will receive standard medical care for their condition and help researchers gather important data.
To be eligible for this trial, patients must be at least 18 years old and admitted to the Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for an acute spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage. However, patients with bleeding caused by non-spontaneous reasons, such as tumors or those who are pregnant, cannot participate. If you or a family member qualify and choose to take part, you can expect to contribute to research that may improve treatment for future patients with similar conditions.
