ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special treatment called snap-needle therapy, combined with ginger paste, can help improve recovery of gastrointestinal function (how well your stomach and intestines work) after women undergo gynecological laparoscopy, which is a type of minimally invasive surgery. The goal is to see if this treatment can reduce issues like nausea and vomiting that sometimes happen after surgery.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be women between the ages of 18 and 65 who are generally healthy and are scheduled for gynecological laparoscopic procedures under general anesthesia. Unfortunately, women with certain health conditions, a history of severe nausea and vomiting after surgery, or allergies to ginger won't be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to receive the new treatment during your recovery and help researchers learn more about its potential benefits for future patients.
