ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of exposure to micro and nanoplastics on workers who handle plastics in their jobs. Researchers want to find out if being around these tiny plastic particles can cause damage to DNA and other health issues. The study is currently recruiting participants, specifically healthy adults who have been employed at their company for at least four years.
To be eligible, participants must be over 18 years old and have no serious health problems. They will need to provide written consent to join the study and must be willing to follow the study guidelines. If you join, you can expect to undergo some health checks, including a physical exam and tests to ensure your overall health. It’s important to note that if you've had an X-ray in the last three months or have any significant health concerns, you may not be able to participate. This trial aims to better understand the impact of plastic exposure on health, which is crucial for improving workplace safety.
