ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment called the Muscle Energy Technique, which focuses on certain muscles in the legs, to see if it can help improve posture and reduce neck pain in people with Forward Head Posture. Forward Head Posture occurs when the head is positioned further forward than usual, which can lead to discomfort and pain. The goal of the trial is to see if working on the hamstrings and calf muscles can make a difference in how well the neck functions and how much pain patients feel.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 20 and 35 years old and have had neck pain for more than three months. You should also have a specific posture measurement called the craniovertebral angle that is less than 49.9 degrees, along with tightness in your hamstrings and calf muscles. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive treatment aimed at improving your muscle flexibility and posture. It’s important to note that if you have had recent injuries, surgeries, or certain conditions affecting your neck or back, you may not be eligible for the study.
